If you are able to offer help to others with lookups, tips, cemetery photos etc. please post a message in the Offers of Help by SKAS discussion forum.

If you need assistance please post check Offers of Help by SKAS discussion forum for relevant assistance and then post your request in the IF YOU WANT HELP/LOOK UPS POST IT HERE discussion forum.

If you are seeking information on a particular surname have a look for a group devoted to that surname.... if there is not one consider setting up a group....it's not an arduous task. Try using the Site Search on the Top Right Hand side of the page to find references to your surnames.

Please create and use the discussion forums to communicate with other members. There are only two discussions displayed - please use View All to browse through the whole list and find those of interest to you.

Have been researching Family Trees for 30 years. Main interest is Tasmanian Families especially the Glamorgan and Spring Bay Municipalities.

I notice that member, Liz Pidgeon added 8 Australian events to the calendar of events yesterday.
Take a look to see what's on

I've been overseas for a couple of weeks. It's great to come back and see some more members in the group. Welcome.

I heard Chris Paton at the Genealogy Expo in Sydney. Of the five presenters I heard he was the star. If you get a chance to hear him when he is in your state do try to go along.

Hi there, I am a new researcher and am interested in the Blackhall Family from around the Mudgee area late 1800s. I have recently found out that my great great grandmother was an aboriginal and her name was Diana Mudgee. I have been lucky to find lots of info but would love more on the lives of the Blackhalls themselves. My mother was a Blackhall (Alice Edna) and My father was a Dobell. I have become really obsessed with all this new information. Maybe someone has more info for me. Regards patricia Knowles

Nearly everyone I know has been suffering from that "spring is sprung" headcold from hell.
I somehow hoped that having had every form of winter anti-flu shot, I would just sail through without a sniffle. Fat chance! But please note: this bug is readily, if unintentionally, shared.
