My oldest Demarest is Jean DeMarets 1592 & his wife Marguierete DeHerville from France.If I have my math right they were my 11th great-granparents. Their son & daughter-in-law were: David Demarest &. Marie Sohier.Their two sons were: Samuel & Jean Demarest.Their sons were David & Peter Demarest.Their children married each other. Their names were: Samuel Demaree & Leah Pieters Demarest. Their daughter Antie Demarest married Hendrick H.Banta. She was his second wife.His first wife was Rachel Brower who had had 6 children with Hendrick Banta before she died. Antie Demarest had 15 children with Hendrick Banta. Antie Demarest & Hendrick Banta married circa 1750 in New York City. The Demarest's had moved to New Jersey from New York.Antie & Hendrick Banta moved to Shelby Co.,KY. where they died. He died in 1805. She died in 1810. At the time when they moved to KY. Hendrick Banta was the only person in KY. with 21 children!
