I'm hoping to find someone connected to my 4x great grandparents, or perhaps somebody who can help me find traces of their lives in Devon (clues to birth would be fantastic!):

John Binding/Bending LANGSFORD (cir 1806 - 17 Nov 1891)
mar. Mary Ann BRYANT (cir 1807 - 23 Apr 1886)
19 Feb 1833, Holy Trinity, Exeter, DEV

After marriage John and Mary Ann moved to Topsham, DEV (living in Monmouth Street in 1837). John was likely an ag. laborer
They had 5 children:
* John Philip (cir 1834 - ?)
* William John (29 Nov 1837 - Apr 1921)
* Henry (cir Mar 1841 - 2 Jan 1842)
* Hannah Maria (Jan-Mar 1843 - ?)
* George Bryant (cir Aug 1846 - 16 Apr 1847)

In 1847, John and Mary Ann emmigrated to South Australia with their 3 surviving children (John Philip, William John and Hannah Maria) and are listed as passengers on 'David Malcolm' (2nd voyage), which left London, England, on 21 Dec 1847 (via Plymouth) and arrived at Port Adelaide on 23 March 1848.

The family settled in the Upper Wakefield area of South Australia farming a property near Auburn. All three children married in South Australia. William John is my 3x great grandfather.
