Hi David. Here is a website that you may want to try. You can contact them. They may be able to help you or at least get you in the right direction.

If you have ancestors in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, USA -- finding them should now be much easier. We have gotten nearly 90% of the cemeteries in the County marked with MAPS - GPS numbers are there. So anyone can go directly to the cemetery in question. Where they might be within that cemetery is another whole problem! :-) If you see a cemetery in the County without a MAP and can help me locate it - please let me know.

I have a challenge that will probably never be answered but here it is.
I have a relative, Frederick George Thompson, born in England, who became a Moravian missionary. I have his record on the ship, Harmony, making supply runs to Labrador. Mr. Thompson requested land service with a wife (Annie Gertrude Plaskett) and son and was granted it about 1923. In 1924 records show he died from a flu like sickness in Okak Labrador, an Eskimo coastal village that has since been abandoned by the Canadian government. The Moravians have been cooperative on what they have. How can I find a grave location and details.

Thank you all for such well thought out and positive reinforcement, will go and post some more stones now. You're a good group. Cheers.

I agree, there are nay-sayers everywhere. Once these dear departed have passed, their vital stats are public record so put in their photos and gravestone pics. I do, however, feel dates of the living should not be posted without permission. But the key words about "Find a Grave" kind of let people know we are talking about deceased folks, not the living.

Photos and records posted on the internet might very well outlast some of the stones in the cemeteries. Do you have a photo of a damaged or eroded stone? A good sales pitch will help you out!! Once the stones can no longer be read, descendants will be grateful for your efforts to preserve and record their family!! Many of us already are, because we will never be able to travel to all the places our forefathers came from---- Have no connections in Australia, but would love to see your country someday!!!!

I would keep posting also. You never know who is doing genealogy and looking for a name that you have posted. It is so rewarding to have them email and thank you for the information.

Please keep adding the tombstone info. I think you will find that there are far fewer people who don't like than do like it. It can't be a privacy concern, the obituaries are listed in newspapers and online newspapers.

G'day I'm Jo from Melbourne Australia, and just new to find a grave, I've only put 60 or so photos on so far, and I'm really glad I found this group. Can you answer this for me - I have photos of peoples graves, I post, their decendant or relative finds it and is - hmm - peeved with me, what to do? Do I post all of the couple of hundred of photos I have or just the ones I'm directly ancestors of. This is a problem for me, as I know a lot of older people hate the thought of ANY related information on the internet. Suggestions????
