Hi Lousie,
You did not say what your g. grandparents names were.

Did you contact the cemetery?
Their information is
Rose Lawn Memorial Estate
6011 38th Avenue
Moline, IL 61265
(309) 764-2362

And on Find a Grave the link to that cemetery is

Hi Sherry, I agree with Darlene. I would take a picture of the marker and the empty space surrounding it and then take a close up of the marker. It would give anyone that wants to know what that space looks like. That is what I would do.

Hi Sherry. I would take a picture of the funeral home marker even though it is gettin unreadable. Also put a not there with that to let people know there is no tombstone. You may be able to get the cemetery to replace the marker if you ask. Never be afraid to ask. At least with what is there already it is a marker. It lets people know that there is a family member there.

Need some advice. One individual in a family group does not have a tombstone and only unreadable pieces left from a funeral home marker remain. How do I indicate that there is no tombstone? Or should I post the picture of the funeral home marker?

i live on the San Francisco peninsula. im really close to san bruno that has a national cemetery. colma california has more cemeteries than people. presido national is not far drive. a lot of large cities arent far drives for me. i think cemeteries are interesting. would be glad to help.

Arthur, you can't add more than one zip code at a time, but if you want to go outside the 50 miles from your zip code you can enter another zip code from anywhere and see the photo requests there.

Arthur, you can control the distance you are willing to travel and that will take you beyond your zip code. I set mine for a 50 mile distance and that takes me past many zip codes as well as into another state.
