They seem elusive to me as the names I am searching are too common and I don't know the specific records I want to search through.

Would anyone be willing to look someone up for me so that I can know if it's worth the money at the moment? I don't have a lot of money to throw at genealogy research right now, and there are way too many sites that want money just to view their results.

Comment by Clare Peden Midgley on July 10, 2009 at 6:33pm: I love this site. GenealogyBank has greatly furthered my research with their Philadelphia, PA and various New York papers. They are also responsive to suggestions about improving the site. I'm waiting for them to get Pittsburgh, PA papers!
