Am I the only person who is still completely confused about when these much-heralded GW Chats take place?! The times are listed as either MDT or MST, I presume this is a timezone. The Chat Schedule has a link to a 'timezone convertor' but there is no MDT/MST listed. How many hours after the East Coast of the USA is MDT/MST?

I've had a casual look for a Chat that was scheduled to begin at 8am MST but, at 1pm Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), 2pm British Summer Time (BST) there's no sign of it.

Could I suggest that in future some explanation in provided of the acronyms used by Genealogy Wise? It will help make the network more inclusive to people outside the USA.

MST is Mountain Standard Time. MDT is Mountain Daylight Time. It is GMT minus 7.

I see GW have addressed this issue in the September Chat Schedule - well done and thanks!
Thank you Johnny for the map of time zones. For me in Africa with no daylight saving time , I need time in Grenage standard time because I have no idea which places in USA fall into their Mountain time, nor whether they have changed from Summer to winter time so GMT minus 7 is much more useful (though one still doesn't know whether they are running on winter or summer time but one can then only be an hour out which is fine.)
