I am looking for my Ketterer ancestors. I have hit a brick wall with John Ketterer (misspelled Ketrer in 1850 census of Berks County PA USA) . He was born in Germany on 25 JUN 1802 and his wife's first name was Rebecca.

I am also searching for the Morell family of Bavaria. My last ancestor that I can find was Adam Morell, arrived in Philadelphia PA from Bavaria in 1852. He married Katharina Epp, also from Bavaria. He was born 10 DEC 1826. I have been able to trace the Epp family thanks to Michael Muller in Germany but have no more information on the Morell's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am looking for info on Peter Riehm Ream. Peter and his wife Anna Catherine Zeller were born in PA in 1786, she in Snyder Co. I am searching for his parents and his place of birth. I know that most of the children were born in Lycoming Co. PA, He was there in 1830, found in a census. They moved to OH, then on to IN, where both passed away in 1858 and 1860.

Does anyone know of a link that you can look up church records from Saxony?

My grandmother was sent at age 14 to the US to make her own way. I suspect she was signed by her parents to a domestic service contract. Does anyone have a line on companies, societies or groups that arranged such deals? Grandmother Emma Stumpe n. Sickerman hailed from Bielefeld Westpahalia. She worked as a servant / maid in St. Louis MO

Pam,
Thanks, I will try it later tonight. Ugh. Just caught my typo in Switzerland.
