I don,t have Ancestry. Samuel is the name on Thomas death cert. But both Lemuel & Samuel turn up on marriage announcements for Thomas & John. Immagration name Samuel Goss, sent to be from someone who had ancestry.ca. Have marriage announcements from Ontario Marriage Registrations for #010581-75 - Thomas Randall GOSS, 42, widower, carpenter, North Gwillumbury, Newmarket, s/o SAMUEL GOSS & Grace FENTON, married Elizabeth Susan BLISS, 32, Philadelphia US, East Gwillimbury, d/o John Carey BLISS & Rhoda BILLING, Witnesses - William & Harriet EALES, both of King Twp, 17 July 1875 at King Twp.,(my gggranparents).
6584-74 Thomas GOSS, 42, widower, yeoman, Rogers Point - Lake Simcoe, Stouffville, s/o Lemuel GOSS & Grace FENTON, married Martha BARRIE, 33, widow, Markham, Stouffville, d/o George BURROWS & Charity BOWER, witn: M. & J. W. PEALLIE (Peattie?) of Claremont, 18 Feb 1874 at Claremont

The closest Family Hishory Center is 1 & 1/2 hrs drive from me. Have been there acouple years ago. It is small and wanted you to know film numbers you needed. If you didn"t have the numbers, then couldn't help.

I found the 1865 Lewiston, Niagara Co. NY census John Goss is there, But no Samuel or Lemuel - ref.; familysearch.org/recordsearch. You have to go through the whole area to find who you are looking for. I get Hertiage Library at home and did some browsing and found a Lemuel Goss in 1840 census Blackrock, Erie Co., NY ages fit for Thomas, John, Lemuel ? Samuel & Grace,
