We have no known ancestors that we can prove except for my husbands grandfather. I am a little nervous about putting his information on the boards for all to see.
I agree it would be great to start out with "known" ancestors, but that is not possible. We have so far not been able to prove anything.
There again we have no proof yet even on that.
We really have no proof yet if the last name is actually Collins.

Oh on the grandfather all we know for sure on him is that is was born somewhere in Tennessee, because he told us that, and remembered living for a while in Ducktown, Copperhill Area. He stated that he was born in Tennessee also. No proof on any of this.
