Still looking for the parents of Lillie/Lilly Mae(y) HUTCHISON

I am still looking for the parents of Lillie May HUTCHISON who was born about 1870 Ohio/Indiana and died 20 December 1908 in Natchez,MS at the age of 38. I believe her mother's maiden name may have been VAUGHN/VAUN as she gave this name to one of her sons. I have been unable to find her in the census in the state of Indiana. I was able to find her marriage to Joseph Randell POULTER 17 October 1890 in Brown County,IN with the help of GeneJ,but there is nothing listed for any family member (father,brother,etc.). Does anyone know about the naming customs of Scots? Grabbing at straws now....
