What I know:

Henri's mother dies about : 1887-1888 TN ?
When Henri's mother dies, step father gives Henri and her only sister ( name unknown ) to foster homes. TN ?
1891-92 Henri marries a MILLER, John Henry he was b: 1858 ILL. dies 1917 Clear Lake, Mississippi co, AR ( tornado)
I know they had about 10 chlidren. One was my grandfather ( maternal side)
I can not find her in any of the census. I do have her Death Certifcate , but it states no mothers name. Her son-in-law signed it.
A name of Forsthye was mention at time as a possible last name for her step-father.
Can not find any of her children, with the exception of my grandfather in 1930 with his wife and two children.
Where could she be ? I do have other names, but wanted to keep this short and put what I thought was the most important information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank's Pam

Do any of Henri's children have unusual given names that we could trace in the census records? Sometimes it helps to have another set(or two) of eyes looking through the census records. :) If you could include possible dates of birth for her children, that would be great!

Kate
Kate, Thanks so much for the reply. As for unusal names no. But here goes the names and dates of birth:
Mabel ( Mapps/Lotts ) Miller 03/28/1893
Viola Miller 08/23/1896 never married
Florence ( Crawford) Miller 1901
John Henry Miller 1904 m: Hermie O. Roberts
Rose Ella ( Roberts) Miller 1905
William Chester Miller 1908 ( Twin to male below)
Frank Miller (twin) 1908 dies about 1913-15 AR
George Allen Miller 03/24/1912
And somewhere in time these children were born and died.
Jake 3 years old
Lillian 3 days old
As far as I know they were all born in AR ( Mississippi co or close by )
The one son John Henry Miller is my grandfather ( maternal side)
Like I had said above, I have some data a Death Certificate for Henri and a Marriage certificate for her yougest daughter we assume ( Rose Ella) where she signed her name for them to get married .
I know this is more than what most people have, but she has to have been living somewhere ?.
Pam
Hi Pam-

These Millers are tough, LOL. :)
But finally I found Rose Roberts married to Fred on the 1930 census, Viola and Will Miller are living with them.:) They are in Bowen, Mississippi County, Arkansas. Rose and Fred have children Helene, Alberta and Anglene.

Sorry if you have this already but I feel like I'm climbing Mt Everest with this one. :)
LOL
Hi Pam-
I'm wondering of you have any obituaries for Henri and John's children, it may list a name she went by? I think part of the problem is that she has so many 'first' names that it is hard to find her.
The only know name that has been listed is " Henri" or Henrietta. And that was listed once again in her son's obit in 1989 ( William Chester Miller ) the twin to Frank. And from other correspondences like letters, calls.
Pam
Hi Pam-

Looks like Mabel married a William Walter Mapps, he indicated that she was his closest relative for the WW1 draft registration circa 1917-1918, looks like she married him about age 16 and they had a bunch of children, let me know if you'd like the names and info. They are still together, I believe in 1930.
I don't have this one, I will look this one up.
Thanks Pam
GeneJ, Yes to your question about " Lott" This is the one. Wonderful ! Wonderful!. I I did have the one on W.H. Mapps. That is how I have him listed ?. But as we all know names can change over and over. In an earlier comment, I had said that I had a copy of a death certificate for Henrietta WELLS, I will have to re-scan that and summit it another way. Do you have an e-mail I can send it to ?. Thank you. Pam
Hello Genej, Yes this is Florence and her husband. As far as I know she was born in AR. I do not have much on her, nor her brother George. I am in contact with Henris g-granddaughter and one of Mae bells. We are all just as stumbed as to where she could have been 1880-1926 and why she wasn't listed on any of the census. ( Henri) that is. I know that she was living with her yougest daughter Rose and husband Fred Roberts when she died ?.( 1926 AR ) Fred signed her death certificate. I think I had said that in an earlier post.
But, some of the relatives just didn't know anything and some knew stuff and wouldn't say anything. And some just plain would not talk about it . so.... Here we are.
Anyway, I have a lot of information to look over and talk to the g-granddaughters about and see just what all we do have now, with yours and Kates help. Once more Thank you. Pam
GeneJ, On the attachment, do you want me to try it again. Pam
RE: Wells, Henrietta ,Death Certificate
I am going to try and send it now, if that doesn't work I will try it a different way or re-scan it to a different program. Pam

GeneJ, Thank you for your report on North Sawba Cemetery. I was aware of it and we ( family members) are sadden that Henri's final resting place will not be found. It is a wonderful article written by Delaney, regarding what happen. I do wish others could read it.
I am not sure as to what relationship there would be of George Jr. and Mrs. Hester Miller and the other two children to Henri and John unless one was a brother ?.. I know that Henri and her husband John had a son named George. But he was not buried there. He died in Sharon, Weakley, TN 1994
I will let you know what I do find. You had mention a death of a Roberts Child?. I think that Rose ( Miller) and her husband Fred Roberts had a son that passed away. I think his name was Wade. I will ask my cousin to make sure.
Once more, Thank's Pam
