My 4th g grandparents were Permelia Hurdle (1776-c1860) and Samuel Beasley of North Carolina and then Indiana. Her parents were Hardy Hurdle Jr. and Elizabeth McGruder. His parents were Hardy Hurdle Sr. and Sarah, and his parents were Martin Hurdle and Sarah.
Hi Kathy, isn't this a great site? I'm doing research in Ireland and England too. My family, naturally, is from the counties where they don't share information. So I ran into a block, sadly. What about you?
I can't remember all five, but I know that Dublin and Galway are two of them. Which, naturally, are where my ancestors are from. Never say any of my ancestors made it easy! There are five counties, in total, unwilling to share their information. You have to go to a professional genealogist in each county and hire them. Or go there yourself. Yeah, I'd really love to go there myself but don't see it in the cards anytime soon.
All my pictures are on my external drive and I wasn't connected to it at the time I joined this. :) The dog dragged me about 15 feet today -- I'm serious. He knocked me down and dragged me to get to the neighbor's dog. I'm really sore, but hanging in there.
