    Hi Robert:

Thanks for trying GenealogyWise with me. We won't know if it is of value until we do, but it is just getting started ... I have more names in my Address Book than they have members! ;-)

Don't forget to join our Haplogroup G page at:

    http://www.genealogywise.com/group/haplogroup_g

Are you on facebook? They have over 200 million members ... lots of G's to be found there, right?
    Regards,

    Peter

We may be researching some of the same lines. My gggreat grandmother was a Gatlin (descendent of Lazarus) and her grandmother was a Hank(s). States involved are NC, TN, MS and TX.

Yes, I would like an invitation, thank you. The Gatlins are on my maternal side. I'd also appreciate any information you may have on Bond. My paternal great grandmother was California Bond (married Elias Davis), d/o John M P Bond, son of Chappel Bond, my brick wall.

So, is Edward Gatlin and Elizabeth Reel our common ancestors. Other than approximate birth and death dates, I have nothing on their son, Edward.

Looking forward to visiting the Gatlin Family site. My email address is elcourtney@earthlink.net.

Ralph Williamson sent me an old album Gatlin's. I believe these to be relatives and descendents of Nathan Marion Gatlin, a brother of my ancestor. You might like to take a look at them and if you can identify any, I would be pleased to know.
