Alan, I don't believe our Haleys cross over. Mine went from Virginia south and west. All the best in your research.

I actually physically live in Lehi, Utah, but use my PO Box in West Jordan (where I grew up) when registering for websites. I realize we do not share any links per what is listed in our profiles. I believe I was thinking along the lines that at some point, it would be good to be connected in the event we do a combined Family History event in Lehi. I understand your decision, either way. Yes, I receive the Haley List e-mails from Rootsweb and believe my ancestor is in the "muck and mire" there somewhere with the Virginia/North Carolina Haleys. Thanks for the suggestion and best wishes in your searching.

As this time, I am not going to be able to attend the conference next week at BYU. I am hoping to find a way to make the one in Salt Lake at the end of August, though. Ya, when I lived in Orem (1997), I attended a conference at a Stake Center next to what is now Gold's Gym (was then Storehouse). It was great. Then moved and moved and move again. We landed in Lehi and hope to be here for a long time to come. We have been here 2 1/2 yrs, so far, and you are right, I have seen nothing along the lines of a Family History anything. I would like to change that. I am currently in the Lehi Willow Park Stake (just created about 1 1/2 yrs ago). I would like to see something more for the members and citizens in this neck of the woods. Thanks for the add and we will cross paths at some point, soon! -smiles!
