Hi Debbe, Thank you for your persistence in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. By taking that mind-set, I have solved cases that others said could not be solved! There are never any guarantees, but try we must, by going into the side-door or even the basement window if necessary{;>)
So, OK, order Gemeindelexikon Schlesien. FHL call number 943 E5kp [that's a book, so you have to order instead FHL film number 491042]. Look in the back of the book, i.e. microfilm, to find Klein Lauersitz in the index. It will tell you the chapter & entry # within that chapter.
Once you find the specific listing for Klein Lauersitz, then over to the far right (usually the next page over), it will give the name of the Evangelical Lutheran & Catholic parish town names that were responsible for Klein Lauersitz. Tell me what those two names are. Better: Email me a scanned copy.
Were your target ancestors Lutheran or Catholics?
These several posts will now conclude your complimentary initial consultation. For further advice or consultation or research, please send a retainer from $100 to $1,000, depending on how much time you wish to have me at your service{;>)
Yes, email me directly karlmsala@msn.com. But mostly for your own files, please make a digital copy of the two pages which cover your ancestral village. While you are there, I'd also copy the other villages whose names you know, but esp. the name of the actual Lutheran parish for your target ancestral village of origin.
