Greta ... you'll do great on this. It is fascinating and fun, plus I'm learning things from being on GenealogyWise. Just start messing around, see what groups are out there you want to join or discussions. It is growing by leaps and bounds. My granddaughter started watching this with me last night and this afternoon she was shocked to see how many members are on GenealogyWise.

You're right - it is a lot of fun. When I got on here this morning to actually check it out there were about just over 600 members.. almost twice as many tonight. It's been great fun watching for everyone that I know. Not being a user of Face Book, I was very excited to see this site come about. Have fun playing!

Hi Greta!!! I'm happy to see you here, I just joined yesterday morning and I can't believe how much it's grown already! I have high hopes....not that I'll stop using facebook of course (I'm too addicted), but I think it will be nice to have a community focused on our interests....

So glad you are having fun. My granddaughter was here Wednesday night and every now and then we'd check the member status. Yesterday afternoon she was here and asked if we could check that just for genealogists place. :-) We were both shocked at how it had grown ... actually by the minute. It's great.

Greta thanks for stopping by and letting me know about our common areas of research. I can't wait to see how close we can really get to each other in our research! :) Isn't this fun? :)

Hi Greta! I resisted a day also and then joined. Haven't had as much time as I would have liked yet though to play much, have to learn to juggle everything! LOL Glad you are having fun and great to see you here too! :)

Hi, nice to meet you ! I recognized "your" photograph from all the genea-blogs that have Google Friend Connect. It must be your badge ;-) I thought I had to meet you. Kitty is looking good ! Do you have a blog yourself ?

They might be connected. I have family in Texas. I have the Highsmith family book and I am trying to update it with all of the new members. Our family came from KY to. The Lewis and Moore families are in IL and also came from Ky by way of NC I believe. I have to ck my papers.

I'll go through my papers and see if I have any matching names. You never know what pops up.
