Welcome to the group. My Shores family comes from Sussex county NJ. As far back as I can find is Samuel Shores b. 1755. Where are your lines from?

My Samuel Shores was born in Sussex Co NJ married Polly Stevens moved to bradford county in 1795. All Shores lines decend from him. His cousin James also moved there about the same time. I am searching for Samuels parents, I did find one of his older children was born in Canoe Brook NJ in Sussex county. Records show Joshua another son moved from Newark to Bradford with family in 1795 ar age 17. I decend from Joshua. A book called Pioneer and Patriot familes of Bradford County by Clement Heverly has alot of information. Also books from the Hortons in America has some Shores info. I would have to look up Coryell Shores to see who he decends from but I would be glad to send you HQ pages on the family. Also if you havent found already there is a web site by Joyce Tice that is loaded with info as well as a diary of one on the family. Bradford county historial Society has some old photos, I have an original of Joshua Shores mentioned above.
