Hi, I grew up in the Southeast Boothill of Missouri. Most of my immediate family came from Arkansas. Great- Great Grandfather from Tenn & Kentucky.
  • Patti Powers

I don't know a whole lot about the Noyes family. I think they did come from Wisconsin originally. My grandfather was Benjamin Jess Noyes, he married Mina May Goodell. His father was Sparks Noyes and his mothers name was Ollie. Do these names sound familar? I can dig through more of my notes, as this is just off the top of my head.

Hi Darlene, Have a nice day

Darlene, I've been able to trace our Conner line to a Joseph Conner born in TN in 1803, married Effie, and died in probably Webster Co., MO bet 1870 and 1880 I suspect. I have yet to find that. Though I've not worked on the Conner line for probably a year. I should look again. There is always something new online. Are you possibly the same Darlene that shared a great deal of Conner information with me a couple years ago? My husband descends from his son William, his son William Monroe, then Ernest, and then Grandma Estelle (Conner) Riddle. Does any of this sound familiar?

    Darlene,

My father's mother was Laura Elizabeth Sampley. Her father, Simon Peter Sampley. His mother, Luraner Sample(y). They were located in Marion County, TN and Grundy, County, TN.

Are these any relatives of yours?
  • Laurie Reynolds Conner

    Hi Darlene,

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I never got an email letting me know you left a message. I got an email today since somebody else left a message and I finally saw yours. Anyway, my Reynolds weren't in Wisconsin. Mainly Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, etc. The Conner side might have been in that area, but I haven't done as much research on them. Are you on Ancestry.com? I have a public tree there called L Reynolds family tree. I can send you a link if you want. Today I'll be out most of the day but I will get back to you soon this time!

    Take care,

    Laurie

I just started to look into the family history. "We" have a relative in Woodstock Va, "Robert Neil" he got me started. We went this last spring and visited John J's grave and homes. Now I'm really hooked. I do not know Patty Jones I'm sorry to hear I missed her. How much info do you have? I'm interested in pictures, stories, war activities.
  • Craig Conner

Robert Neil (my uncle) is the son of my grandfather Robert Neldo, a son of Christly Godfrey. I would love pictures but I'm not computer savy you might say, I'm open to suggestion/reccomendations.
