    My wife is actually a BEARDEN and it is her line I am researching. She is descendant from Reuben BEARDEN (b. 1812 Georgia, d. abt 1901 Arkansas) through his son James Pearson BEARDEN (b.1846 Alabama, d. 1931 Texas) and then through James Franklin BEARDEN (b.1888 Texas, d. 1962 Texas).
