Hi Kate! It's great to find you here. I wrote a short piece for the World Vital Records Newsletter that came out yesterday and referred to YOU! Not by name, but I talked about finding a 2nd cousin and the blessings that come from making these connections and all that we can share by working together! This is so fun!

Where are your Waggoners from? Mine are from Kentucky, but before that maryland and Ohio.

    Hi Kate,
Glad to see you here on this site. I found it a little over a week ago too. Hopefully we will connect with more our relatives.

my gg-grandfather was Oliver Clifford Waggoner, b. Maryland 1833, died Kentucky 1902. His siblings were Susanna, George Washington, Sarah and Mary. Their parents were Elza Waggoner and Mary (possibly Elbin). Oliver and George had many children who spread out all over Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana, etc. Family lore says Elza's father was a Hessian soldier. Sound familiar?
