Thanks Roz--hopefully we will be able to connect with more Hoar family this way. Name also shows up as Hoare on some of the Irish records I have located. Keep up your good work.
Thanks Roz, I appreciate you sharing on James Wesley Hoard. I do have a great deal on this family. It's funny though I forgot all about that....it's my post it on that page telling the person that they have all the children by two different mothers, but only Emily was the mother of those children. I think Mary had one son, but he wasn't the ones listed. But thinks, it's good to go back and refresh my memory once in a while.

Sorry I copied and pasted from My Word file. I have complete stories about the history printed out but you can find alot online. Hore and Hoard were connected so you find alot about both families when you go on Hoard sites as well. I am almost to the of connecting us to Royalty, Once that happens I can go back even further. I got us very far back so maybe together we can reach that point of royal bloodline.
I have the faimlily crest as well. I also researched some on Taunton MAss, and then Devonshire, Chagford Its very hard to get to Chagford by plane cause its so remote. I think I called the Library there and teh ppl there are all very simple still.
just keep going back and forth on the chart by Father and you get some interesting Facts and quotes from Books. Each person has cool facts about them. I havnt gone through each one yet.
Hello fellow relatives - I'm new here - I have got as far back as Edward Hore married to Martha Archer on May 12, 1706 in Christow Devon and I'm trying to get the connection back to Chagford - Any help?? Thanx
Hello Roz! I am hoping to be able to reach you...here is some info of why:
I am doing family research on my ggg grandfather Charles Henry Briggs. There is a family rumor that Charles Henry got into legal trouble and changed his name from Angell to Briggs. I believe that David O. Angell who was married to Sarah J Roberts is also Charles Henry Briggs. I saw that you had info on Sarah & David and I was wondering if you had any info for me. Do you know what happened to David Angell? I know that Sarah remarried in 1894 to Lewis Orchard but do not know what happened to her first marriage. I am hoping and praying you can help me!!
Thank you for the info Roz, I do have this info already though. Do you know what happened to David Angell? Do you know of any family rumors involving him? Thank you again for your time
