Hi John - I'm curious about your Makepeace surname (you and I are the only members with this surname listed) Where are yours from and is this in your direct lineage? Regards -Cindy
I have set up an Avery discussion group. There are 26 Avery researchers on here. I thought by putting our heads together we might find some common relatives and breakdown our brick walls. Please feel free to drop in and post your Avery lines.
Hi, noticed we have a number of surnames in common - BACKUS, CHURCHULL, LILLIE, SPENCER.
At present I am working on the PINCKNEY family (a project, not descended from them, but probably related back in France (PICQUIGNY family). Am wondering what your line is. Thanks, Jim.
Each surname of mine I put in comes up with your name. Do we have some connections. My surnames are from New England...NH,Me,Ma. Weeks, Austin, Glover, Ricker and a few more. I am currently working on the Glovers from Lee, NH. Let me know if this is meaningful.
Thx
Hello John,

Hi,
I am searching for information about Pinckney Chandler of Greenville County, SC (1843-1868). He was said to be named after his ancestors, the Pinckney family of SC- possibly through his mother Leeanna Campbell Chandler's line. I was searching for links between the Chandler, Campbell and Pinckney families and a link to your profile came up.
I thought I'd write to ask if you might possibly have information about any of these lines. Pinckney Lafayette Chandler is the son of Willis C. Chandler/Leeanna Campbell and the grandson of unknown Chandlers/John Richard "Dickey" Campbell and his wife Virginia Jane Barnett.
Thanks in advance for your help- Julie
Hi John
I am seeking some help in linking Thomas Love Knibb to the Buswell & Sutton families especially in the Franborough area. Do you have any information that may help me? Thanks Janine
John--I am researching the following surnames: Mathhewson, Smith, Hogg, and Wolf. They are from Scotland and Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA. I notice you have several of those names listed and am wondering if there are any connections.
John,
We notice that many of our family names correspond to your list. Blaisdell (Rock Island
connection), Sampson, Samson, Alden, Long, to name a few. This is my husband's family.
I notice on my side...Richmond (origin England), Jones (origin Scotland).
Also, just curious, did you attend an Elderhostel event in Utah in June, 2007?
We look forward to hearing from you. Jan and George Sampson, Rosemount, MN
