Thank you! It looks like we live very close to each other. I am originally from Kansas but have lived in Houston since I was 14 years old.
I saw that you are also researching the Vance name and that you have a book? That sounds interesting. I am a beginner. My Vance roots start with my 2nd great grandmother, Martha "Mattie" A. Vance, born Jul 1832 in Macoupin, IL, died Feb 1912 in Neosho County, KS.
