I do have Thomas and Marcy Rice in my line. By my accounting they are my 8th great grandparents. But I don't have a Hezekiah as their son--could be, there is a lot of discrepancy (at least on Ancestry) as to how many kids and who they were! My line goes Thomas (and Marcy)>William (b1686)>Benjamin (b1710)>Hezekiah, Sr. (b1739)>Hezekiah, Jr (b1764)>Asenath Rice, who married into the McGee family of Anderson County, SC, and then a McGee daughter married into the Emerson family.
As for the Lloyds, they are my husband's line, and all I have is back to William Gustavus Lloyd, b. 1800 in Darlington, SC. his line stayed in the Darlington area for quite a while before moving into North florida, then the Ft. Lauderdale area. They probably go back to VA, but I haven't found the link yet.
