I had forgotten that I ever entered information on Genealogywise but must have remembered my normal logon and password. The short answer is no but that always needs qualification. My Halletts were from the Yeovil area of Somerset but after 1850 some went to Swanage in Dorset. The Dawes were closer to Dorchester from around Rampisham and the various Melburys and the family even figure in a 1623 visitation of Dorset. Both families were Yeoman farmers renting from the Earl of Ilchester who also had land in Somerset and that caused them to move to the Yeovil area of Somerset. They were numerous Dawes and the name Ellis was the favourite.
If that first name rings a bell then maybe you should write to me direct at ghallett1[at]cogeco.ca and replace the at with @. I notice from your web page that you are in BC and I am in Perth which is about 80 km south-west of Ottawa.
