Hi! I'm thrilled to have three names pop up when I look for the Stanners Surname. Here is my info:
At last, I see someone trying to find someone in the Stanners family. Are you related, or just researching them? I am trying desperately to find my great-great grandmother, whose name I believe was Mary Stanners. She married John Quirk in the 1850's, probably, and they were most likely both new Irish immigrants, living in Illinois (to the best of my knowledge). That is all I have been able to find - just uncovering her surname was a major breakthrough for me - I found it through my great grandmother's sister's death records from California. Her name was Catherine Quirk McGarry, and she died in Los Angeles, with her mother's maiden name listed as Stanners. Please let me know your connection, as I would be delighted to gain any information at all.
Sincerely, Gwen Gransberg Delete Comment
