Hello Pam, Thanks for the comment. Pretty wild to be finding so much on line these days. I just recently got started with the family history research, and have found many things on line with out the help of Ancestry.

You should check out this site, Schweer-Jurgen its the genealogy of the Schweer's going back as far as I have found so far. The site belongs to Karen Rowe, and she has quite a bit of information there. You'll find Minni listed, and a few others.

My Grand Parents came from Elsie Nebraska, and there is a lot of information on them in a book called " Memories of Elsie" That is where I got some of my pictures with the the permission of the web master. I have a copy of the book in PDF if you would be interested, just send me an email, and I'll send you the link to download it.

Let me know what all you need, and I'll give you all the information I have on the Schweer side. I've found a couple of other names that tie into us also, not sure which ones will tie into yours. Your Willie and Minnie were the children of who? I get so confused, because a lot of the time, I don't have the nick names, except one, "Whispering Bill", Schweer, who supposedly was William, married to Ada May Kelso. I'm having some trouble confirming that nickname though.

Anyway, Just let me know what all you need, and I'll send you what I have. Nice to hear from you, it's really nice to know someone else is researching Schweer also.

Would love to get an invitation, not sure I can make it but would definitely try.

Hello Pam, Yep, Lanny was my father, Travis and Elaine my Grandparents. Will and Ada, Travis's Parents. I'll forward you my info, in an email. I have been told that I went to some family reunions up there in Elsie, but I think they were the Softley side. I can't remember, because I was too young.

Catherine and Gail, my aunts, have done some research, but they focused more on Grandmas side of the family. I've just started, and been having some great luck with information. I've set up a tree on Tribal Pages, and once I get the corrected data posted, I'll send you an invite. I have 4 or 5 generations to add, and confirm so it's starting to look pretty solid.

I don't have much info on Blanche, she was Travis's sister, and my Grandmother didn't like her much, LOL. Not sure what the issue was there, but it sounds like one of those family stories that has something hidden in it. I'm going to have to out, it was probably something silly. It's amazing how closed mouthed the "elders" are about things like that.

I'll send you a couple of questions about Dad and Great Grandpa Will also. There's a lot there that I never heard about until Dad's funeral.
