I noticed that you posted the Tulliallan Parish records. The Andrew Drysdale- Janet Rankine are decendants of mine. The line from my Father also Andrew Drysdale has been traced by myself, to Andrew and Janet Drysdale.

That is very interesting about Applegarth Monastery. I need to keep tracing down the Drysdale line to see where it takes me, it might not be anything to do with the three outlawed brothers although the place they fled to the Haugh of Dollar is within the area of my birth and all my descendants, Stirling, Bannockburn, Tulliallan, Culross. You mentioned the surname Clark, that is my mother's side of the family. Her Father was Alexander Clark born in Glasgow ?
