  • James Moreau Delaney Jr.

    Prior to Elgy Ortego marrying my grnadmother Marie Louise Moreau, she had two other sons Joseph Delaney b.1915 and my father (Mariano)James Manuel Delaney born July 19, 1916-d. Novemebr 30, 1983. After her marriage to Elgy they had several children, My uncles Webster,Elson and Franklin and a daughter Margerie.Uncle Webster died awhile back. Uncle Elson passed about 2yrs ago. Uncle Frnanklin lives in Plaucheville and Aunt Margerie who married Y.D. Gulliet lives just outside of Cottonport.They all had children but it would take awhile to name off my cousins and siblings and there cjildren and grandchildren.

I have made contacts with "cousins" up through Joseph Marcelin's grandson, my gggfather, Theodule Ortego, whose photo I have up on my page. I would LOVE to have contact with more Ortego's. . .
