Hi Lauren, so far I have not seen anyone named Thomas (W. middle initial or not) Moore in my files, but I'll keep looking. Were your Moores from Claiborne, Blount, and or Tazewell, in TN? Were they at one time Quaker? My Anthony Moore was a Quaker in TN, but he did start our in VA. He married Zilphia Haines.

I did find one Thomas Moore born in Nodaway Co., Missouri abt. 1833, but I know little about him. I don't have a wife or kids for him. He was the son of Squire Moore of Claiborne Co., TN and Rebecca Capps of Grainger Co., TN. His older sister is Lucinda Jane Moore Sumner, my great great grandmother. My informant was Lynda Moore Griffiths-Fischer, known as altlyn on Moore message boards.
