Hi John, I'm not sure we're actually looking at the same families, but I thought I'd contact you anyway. The Mahaffey family I'm searching is in Philadelphia starting (at least) in 1800 and then moving to Hudson County, NJ in the late 1800's. The Muellers are my father's family. His parents both came here from Germany in the early 1900's. His father was from Gottmadingen and was born in 1878. If you see any connections, I'd be glad to hear from you.
