    We had some family members in Texas in 1848 so it's possible that your John Franklin links to us somehow.  I can't remember if I ever sent you our DNA results but you should be able to view them on the Familytreedna site anyway.  Seems like I referred you to Sandra Casey as she had direct ancestors in Texas.  Please update me on your findings or let me know if we need to pursue this further.  Thanks!

    My father's surname is Taylor and I think I'll be r1a1a. I only have 12 markers done and FTDNA won't say what I am until all 37 are finished but Haplo group predictors all say that is what I am. I am interested to share information too!
