I need to check with my cousin, she has more info than I do (she's on here too: DeeDee Anglin Shackelford).

My g-g-grandfather that I mention is listed as "William Henry Lowry" on some documents. I don't have his birthdate, so I need to see if my cousin does. Based on his date of death, possibly a son or nephew to your "William H. Lowry". Although I notice your lineage contains two consecutive Williams, so son seems unlikely.

The two predominate maiden-name lineages I have are Harris and Lemmons; if those might ring any bells.

As far as I know we've not been able to trace an immigration to the US. The legend my dad was told was that his William Henry Lowry immigrated from Dublin Ireland as an orphan. We've not been able to corroborate that, but do know he was not raised by a Lowry family; and can find no record of him prior to age 7.

LOL! Just realized I contradicted myself there. My cousin won't have any birthdate on WHL, cause I already know we've been unable to find anything on him prior to age 7.

Turns out she does have WHL's birth year: 1846.

He was raised by the McCoy family.
