Hi Albert one of my ancesters is James Madison Peck, all I could find about him was that he was a Confederate soldier in the Civil War. I have not done much research hopfully you can help me I do not have any contact with relitives because my father made a career with the army and we moved alot, then after I grew up I did the same. I beleive I am related to Brig Gen William Rein Peck who was the last commander of the 9th Louisiana Infantry Reg. I have a great aunt who had told me of his exploits as a plantation owner, entrepreneur and politician before the civil war.

Hi Albert, I have met Pecks my whole life I was not related to. I found one of the biggest family reunions in the country is the Peck family in texas, of course it was the german Pecks.
