My wifes Grandmother who came to Canada from Portadown Ireland made some notes for me, but she was old and her mind was going a little. I have a John Hickland (son of William Hickland) no dates married to a Elizabeth Rock, no dates. (Daughter of Denis Rock). John Hickland and Elizabeth Rock had a daughter named Annie Hickland, born 08 Apr 1869, Armagh, North Ireland. She married William George Simpson.
Hi I saw you log on and hoping you had come into the chat room, I invited you to join us. We were talking research problems, Fold 3 and mundia. But I saw you abruptly leave the site. Hope I didn't scare you off with the invitation. I looked at your names. There is a Beth McBride who comes to chat who had done a lot of Irish research both in the US and Canada. She might be a rellie. We are also looking for people to do instructional chats. Interested? We do have Gen Trek with Dae Powell, a professional genealogist who does his instructional chat on Monday at 10:00 pm eastern time. There has been some interest in me doing a chat on paragenealogy. You may not believe in the paranormal but my Forum post has had over 1650 views. Please stop in sometime.
