I was hoping this is the same Brenda that has done genealogy on the Davis/Davies family that I have seen on GenForum and other places. If so I would love to talk to you. I am a Davis..Great granddaughter of George W. and Mable Davies and Great Great Granddaughter to Charles W. and Mary (Hiett) Davies from Smithland, Iowa. I live by Holstein, If you could email me I would greatly appreciate. I'm doing this for my father and love it. You can email me at : rebahansen@yahoo.com Thank you, Becky Hansen
I saw on genealogy.com, from 2005, that you were looking for Toppings. I believe I am part if them that you are looking for. My mother's father was Robert, from The UK. His family came to the US when he was small, approximately in 1900.
I would love any information you have for them. I know that most of his siblings died in childhood and he had only one sister make it to adulthood and she died when she was 36. From other stuff I found last night it seems she was in an asylum, at least for the 1930 Census.
