I actually do not work at NCSA, I work in the library. It shares a building, but 2 separate entities. My suggestion is to see if you can find someone who lives out here that can go and make a transcription of the will for you. Even if you request another copy, it may not be any better and a waste of money. Check with the NC group on here. I would do it myself, but it creates a job conflict and when I was hired for this job (genealogy reference librarian) I was told I had to stop doing lookups for people. I used to do this for people no charge all the time and I know there are others out there who do it, too; just have to find them.
