    I wonder if the two lines are connected at all. My Eatons ended up in St. Johns but they came from back east. I'll take a look and see where and get back with you. Thanks for responding for quickly! I'm excited to have found this site.

    Okay, I looked. Sorry, should have done that before I responded. I have a John Sagers Eaton who was born in Montrose, Iowa. His dad Joseph was born in the same place. In fact, so was HIS dad, Joseph. Then I have nothing else. I wonder if our Eaton's are cousins. Do you have any of those names in your line or similar?
