I noticed that you are researching Rew in Somerset. John Rew (baptized 27 Feb 1766 at Selworthy) I believe to be the son of John Rew (baptized 1 Dec 1722 Wootton Courtney) and Sarah Moggridge (baptized 28 Dec 1731 Selworthy). John married Elizabeth (Betty) Siderfin 30 Jan 1792 at Selworthy.

I have taken John Rew (father of John b 1766) back another generation to John Rew (baptized 12 Jul 1696 Wootton Courtney and son of Timothy Rew and Grace Moggeridge who were married 2 Nov 1695 at Wootton Courtney) and Mary Vicary married 30 Apr 1720 Wootton Courtney.

I am brickwalled with Timothy Rew who was buried 20 Feb 1737 at Wootton Courtney but no ideas on where he was baptized.
