Well then I guess we are related :) I think you may have misunderstood--It wan't Jacob 1777 that traveled to Colorado--it was California Weddington (my great-grandmother) who left Pikeville, KY for Colorado after marrying Harry Wright of Ceredo, WV (his parents were immigrants from Scotland and followed visionary Ely Thayer from Massachusetts to found a colony free of slave labor there). I did know about the Hatfiled connection, and Martha. Interesting isn't it? I have a very complete family tree with pictures on Geni.com. I would love to invite you to see it, but I'm afraid I need your email address.
What Snodgrass names are you connected with? My 3GGM was Elizabeth Alice Snodgrass that married Edward Martin Luther Reynolds. I have quite a few names from the Snodgrass line and have been in touch with cousins, I also have a niece that lives in Las Vegas
