Banes and Beans

The Banes, oft called Beans, were a Norfolk family of tailors in the Southrepps area. My great great grandfather Richard Bane left Norfolk to pursue a career in the Royal Artillery. After making his home-life for a while on the island of Barbados he returned to England and settled in London.
