Hi Roy,
I haven't specifically mentioned the spelling 'Whitbred' in the introduction to the Group, as it is no longer used today. It is one of five variants which I have registered with the Guild of One-Name Studies, but it is just one of about 30 different spellings used over the years. You will see that I have used it in the index for BDF_02, the brewery family. It was also regularly used in the 16th and 17th centuries by the ESS_04 family. Steven
Mr. Hemby,
My Great Great Grandfather was William Charles Whitbread Clark or Charles Edward Clark...my Grandmother was Viola Velva West, daughter of Eunice Sonisic Clark and Lee Buford West. Could it be possible we are related?
