My interest in the surname is through my mother, whose maiden name is CHUTER, and has no brothers, so the CHUTER branch stops here, and through family history research have found CHUTERs mainly in Surrey, and CHEWTERs mainly in west sussex. I now have a one-name study interest and collecgt all references to the surnames globally.
