William H Alderson
Looking for any information on William H Alderson, born 1788 to 1795. in Virginia. He was in Washington Co Arkansas in the 1850 censes., age 62. Johnson Co Arkansas in 1870. And Carroll Co Arkansas in the 1880 censes, age 85. I know he left 2 childred with a family in Greene Co Missouri in the 1830's.
I thought he was in Adair Co, Kentucky in the 1820 censes, but others claim that was William Buck Alderson. I don't know how you can tell which William Alderson was there. I'd like to know who his parents were, his wife's and his childred.

William H was in Johnson Co Arkansas in 1870 censes. That is where he married Elizabeth Patrick.. So, yes this is the same man in the 1850 Wash Co censes.

William H Alderson's wife in 1880 censes was Charity Elizabeth (Pearson) Patrick. Her first hus was George Lewis Patrick. I believe George Lewis had died by 1870 so Charity Elizabeth would have be head of household then. At this time I can't find the 1870 censes for Johnson Co Ark, but I am certain that William H was there. I'll keep looking. This weekend I will have time to work on this. I'll let you what I find. Donna, I don't know if there is any connection. All my Alderson family is from N W Arkansas
