Hi Michael - I think you have my email address now. I sent you and your family an ecard for Christmas. Our Christmas Day was yesterday (Sunday Australian time) but I think you would be just ending your Christmas Day now due to the time difference. Hope you had a good day.
Best wishes from Lee

Hello Michael ... Thank you for the information you shared with me. There are so many Kruses it has been very hard to go back beyond our Johann Heinrich Lorenz Kruse not knowing specific details. It is only about 12 months since I found the full name of his parents, they were listed on an emmigration list when he came to Australia in 1854. Prior to finding that list we had only 'John Kruse' and 'Georgine Schultz' as being his parents names so that was a mighty help. There have been three of us in Australia seriously trying to find more information about him over many years. one lady went to Germany but had no luck as she was told that the Archives had been destroyed in the Franco-Prussian War. My particular interest is to find out the names of his siblings and to identify the photos I have posted of 'Kruse Families' which were in our family.
Great to hear from you - look forward to having more contact from you.
