Looking for help with court records in CT

I'm finding it difficult to make the trip to CT to research the court records, is there anyone based in CT who would be willing to look up the index to see if an ancestor is has an entry?

Hi John,

Yes, probate records can be quite useful--if your ancestors owned property. I thought maybe you meant civil or superior court. The probate system in Conn. is a bit confusing since it is based probate districts which generally track with towns. That is, they are not organized on the county level. Over the centuries new districts have been created so it is important to follow the establishment of new towns and probate districts in order to know where to look for records for the person of interest.

Would anyone be able to see if they can find any info on Frank Van der Meulen Mills and his wives #2 Mary Elisabeth Sills and #1 Kate Chapman Wilson its not a family research but an interesting story I am happy to share,
