Looking for the parents of Mary Jane Davis, who married Jacob Aker in Huntington,Co, Indiana, 28 Oct 1855. Couple living in Whitley Co,, Indiana Jefferson Township in 1860 US Census. Mary Jane evidently died before 29 Jan 1875 as Jacob remarried a Sarah E. Grove in Wells Co., Indiana on that date. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Do you know where Mary Jane Davis was born? It should be listed on her census report.
    Do you know where her parents were born? This was not recorded until the 1880 census. I know you said Mary Jane died prior to the 1880 census report. What about any of her siblings? Do you know the names of any of her siblings? If so, you can check the 1880 census report for them and see where their parents were born.
