Seeking parents of Benjamin KELLY, likely born in the early 1770s, married Rachel Prine/PERRINE on 18 Feb 1794 in New Jersey. They had the following children: Philancy (Fanny) who married Gilbert AMMERMAN; David who married a Margaret; Maria P. who married Joseph STOUT; James Bloomfield, wife unknown; John R; Susan who married Elijah VANKIRK; Cornelia who married John TICHENOR; Catharine who married William FARRINGTON, Benjamin M.; and Amelia Minerva who first married a THOMPSON and then James M. CREQUE. All of these people were living in Tompkins County in the 1830s and onward.
Also look for the wife of the above-named James B (Bloomfield) Kelly who was born in 1800 and died in 1827, leaving a young daughter born in 1825.
