Note however that an additional discount can be obtained for a Y-DNA test which is ordered through a surname or geographical project. The special sale prices for Y-DNA tests ordered through projects are:

- Y-DNA37 – promotional price $119 (regular project price $149)
- Y-DNA67 – promotional price $209 (regular project price $239)
- SuperDNA (A combined Y-DNA 67-marker test and mtDNA full sequence) – promotional price $488 (regular project price $665)
